Sumana Khan was born and raised in Bengaluru, Karnataka, where she went on to graduate, much to the surprise of her teachers, and relief of her parents. In what can only be described as a quirk of fate, she ended up as the accidental IT consultant - a role she essayed for more than a decade and may have caused the recession.

She is now a reclusive blogger, novelist and a PhD (Psychology) research student who currently lives in the UK.

Sumana's debut novel The Revenge of Kaivalya was published in 2013 by Westland. Her short story/novella collection - Encounters - Someone's Always Waiting was published in 2015 by CinnamonTeal.  Her short story Satyavati was published in 2017 by Juggernaut.  Her current manuscript - The Good Twin - is presently under evaluation.
